A delivery!

[At the beginning of October, Allison will find a paper package hanging from the doorknob to her room by a string, knotted so it won't fall. Inside is a large red leather book with ornate gold trim. The title on the spine, also in gold, reads Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. Secured to the front of the package is a note that reads (somewhat pretentiously) in elaborate, fancy handwriting:]

Here enclosed is one (1) copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Mr Newt Scamander for Ms Allison Argent.

My sincerest apologies for the lateness of this delivery - being trapped in the mirrors made things more than a bit difficult. I've returned, but was thoroughly distracted by the recent arrival of Mr Remus J. Lupin.

[He apparently felt the need to break character for just a moment to draw a little smile next to that statement.]

Terribly sorry, shame upon myself and the entire Potter family. However, I have not forgotten! Here within this tome contains more information than you could ever possibly need on creatures from my world - with the number of residents from my world increasing, it might very well prove necessary one day.

Sincerely,
Mr James Potter

[Oh, he's perfectly capable of texting at this point (...mostly) - he just enjoys a good fancy letter now and then. Pretentious letter-writing is apparently a dying art and if he doesn't preserve it in Wonderland, who's going to?!

That being said, he still texts her back:
]

Mirror side was and forever will be terrible
But yes Remus is here!!!
Just got in a few days ago and we are all thrilled.

[Well, Peter's not quite as thrilled for reasons, but let's not over-complicate things, mm?]

And you're welcome! Glad I could help.
Can't say I blame you for wanting to pass it off - it's like a brick!
but hopefully it'll be useful for you
(at this rate your beastiary might need to be an entire encyclopedia series though - good luck with that!)
