[ other than the fact she has some of that protective-ness left over, no, her side of the bed really wasn't all that awkward. unless of course curse ben decides to get a little frisky, in which case, well. that's an entirely different story. ]

the situation was fine
really, ben. you were okay, stop worrying

and that's cute.
my first event included a bunch of hellhounds trying to rip everyone apart
so
like I said, could have been a lot worse. :)


[ she still remembers that event, though probably for reasons other than the actual nightmare that was happening around her. it was so long ago. ]

that was just sort of the name that everyone picked up?
they happen every couple of weeks, usually only for a few days
it's almost like clockwork, or a schedule
thus...an event. that we all have to attend. whether we want to or not.


[ she's trying really hard not to treat this all like a 'it's whatever, they happen, you haven't had to aputate your significant other to keep him from turning into a zombie so just wait' sort of deal, but that's the weight that sits on her chest.

you get used to it, she wants to say, but the last event wasn't even that bad. it makes her wonder what could be coming up soon.

though what he says after that has her curious. probably more curious than she should be. ]

not being used to a clean bed or running water seems like a totally different set of problems
