It wasn't necessarily the talk itself that I was apologizing for. It was the whole situation.

I have a clean bed, running water, and constant access to food. That's more than I've had in years. I'm still trying to get used to it all.

I don't know that was just sort of the name that everyone picked up? they happen every couple of weeks, usually only for a few days it's almost like clockwork, or a schedule thus...an event. that we all have to attend. whether we want to or not.
[ she's trying really hard not to treat this all like a 'it's whatever, they happen, you haven't had to aputate your significant other to keep him from turning into a zombie so just wait' sort of deal, but that's the weight that sits on her chest.

you never did tell me what your home was like not that you have to some people like to keep that secret and that's totally okay I don't know not being used to a clean bed or running water seems like a totally different set of problems
